Tony Smith

Tony Smith, the founder and principal agent at Forensic Brothers Investigative Services, served as an FBI Special Agent for 25 years after working in a public accounting firm as a CPA. With a background in accounting, Tony specialized in financial crimes and was instrumental in investigating a wide range of cases. He discovered that private investigators specializing in financial crimes are rare in the private sector, and many accounting firms do not have the skills needed to fully investigate and uncover the culprit in financial crimes.

Forensic Brothers Investigative Services’ agents know both accounting and investigations. Through their years of performing formal investigations, they know how to conduct an in-person interview, what questions to ask, and how to dig through accounting records to find the source of discrepancies. As a full-service private investigation company, our agents are licensed private investigators in addition to having law enforcement and accounting backgrounds.
